Tuesday Tip - Crazy It Forward/Operation Shower & Give Thanks

It's time for another Crazy It Forward Award, this one comes from Sweet Craft Cakes' very cute monster party with furry friends based on my felt owls! Here's the crazy in their own words...[Kerry] used a 4 inch styrofoam ball and painted them with coordinating acrylic paint. After drying, she free hand cut pieces of felt, then hot glued them on to the ball. She recycled Frappuccino bottles and put Mike and Ike candy inside them, then hot glued the head to the lid.

Super cute right? And perfect for the rest of their slamming party, thank you for letting me share, email me if you'd like the code to display your Crazy It Forward button loud and proud! I know, dear readers, you want to run out and make a batch up right now? Maybe turkeys for Thanksgiving? Hmmm...may be working on those myself!

Alrighty then, shifting gears. Those of you who have knocked around my blog for awhile know that I'm a military spouse. We were active duty when both of my boys were born in military hospitals on each coast. You've probably heard my occasional ranting about military life and somewhere in that, I mentioned Operation Shower staging unit-wide showers at different military bases to help those moms in need.

They were at it again last month, with the theme "A Star Is Born". Chief Event Planner Amy from Stem Parties, along with a host of party sheroes and amazing sponsors were able to make another amazing shower happen for well-deserving moms.

Fabulous, right? Well, the next stop on their world domination tour, Operation Give Thanks; their nation-wide fundraiser that lets everyone get in on the party! Some amazing women have already heeded the call and have some free party printables to help get your fundraising party off right!

Need help? No worries, the Operation Give Thanks site has a Fundraising Event Handbook ready to guide you through!
