If you read my blog, you know I love ice cream. I have an entire Pinterest board devoted to it. Every year we host an annual Ice Cream Bash with our friends...here I am setting up for this year's sugar-coma-inducing extravaganza! Nothing says summer like ice cream at a splash pad. I love going to an ice cream shop where they make their own waffle cones and serve me a big scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Since I'm a mom, my freezer must have a few frozen treats...well, not really, I would anyways. But, I kid you not, I ALWAYS have Otter Pops and Popsicles in the freezer. My boys are constantly eating them, much to their dad's chagrin. Man, they will sword-fight with anything!
My love of the ice cream goes way back...it's my mom's fault. Whenever she had Klondike® in the freezer, we couldn't have any...those were hers. So of course, we wanted to sneak them. Problem is, she always seemed to notice when they went missing...I wonder why.
Klondike® has come a long way since I was swiping mama's bars (they have 10 flavors since The Original), with new treats like the Chocolate Choco Taco®, Peanut Butter Choco Taco® and the latest Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich.
If you haven't heard, there are a host of new flavors from other favorite brands as well.
Click on each brand to visit the website to see all the flavors they have created...MAGNUM® Breyers® Good Humor® Popsicle® Klondike®

When I was a kid my mom always had Disney popsicles that were shaped like the popular characters. I always wanted Minnie because it was cherry! We'd sit outside and eat those, yum.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory has to be walking to the corner store with a group of cousins and buying these giant popsicles (like super huge versions of Otter or Kool Pops) that I haven't seen now in years. We loved those things. They were huge and were only $.25.
