Minted Calendar Review

I love, love, love when sponsors want to share all their fabulousness with me and my readers and today I'm sharing some serious paper love.

I'm a paper snob and when I receive a paper product, I have to hold it and feel it and will actually judge if I even like something based on the paper thickness. I know, and I'm not ashamed to say that.  Not only are Minted products high quality, but designed by a community of independent graphic designers...which means one day, when I get my act together, I may have my own designs showcased.

So when the opportunity arose to check out their calendars, I was more than game. They come in two sizes, standard at 8.5" X 11" and the grand at 11.5"  X 14". I ordered the Washi Chalkboard Notes (two hot trends in one) in grand and set to work personalizing it.

That's right...those are my own pictures from the front cover and in every month, easily uploaded.  The program even lets you know if your photo resolutions are too low. With different photo layouts, color options and personalized occasions & birthdays for any day of the year, your calendar is uniquely yours.

See mommy's birthday? No more Mother's Day is the Sunday so it's going to be an awesome weekend...curses, I digress! You can add in important dates, vacation time, special holidays, anything you want.

Minted’s unique calendar design has rounded corners and is spiral bound at the top, so it lays perfectly flat. I hate a calendar that requires a degree in engineering to flip over and back. Plus, it comes in 100 lb. weight, which to put it in perspective, if you are the crafty type, you are probably working  with 65 lb weight  when you make your cards, scrapbooking, etc.

It was so fun looking going through our photos to upload, the boys were more than eager to help.  Now, we can look back and remember all the great times we've shared.  This photo is one of my favorite, my menfolk at Disney World.  My other favorite is on the cover, a day on the beach in Southern Cali.  It's also April's photo, our Spring Break month.  Nope, no subtlety here...

Get on the ball and order yours now for yourself or a loved one and it will be yours by Christmas.  2013 is right around the corner.  It makes a fabulous gift and unlike other calendars, when the year is over, you won't be throwing this one out.  And speaking of gifts, check out their gift guide full of ideas from personal stationery  to custom family tree art prints and photo art prints.

This JUST popped in my email this morning, a very special email offer (another reason to get on their mailing list) to seriously knock a few things off your Christmas list. Buy 2 calendars, get 1 free with code: EMAILCALENDAR through this Monday, December 10. Equal or lesser value only. Discount will appear in the cart. This promotion may not be combined with any other offer. Limit one coupon code per order.

Disclaimer - I was provided the calendar for review from Minted but the opinions are my own. I only recommend companies or services I believe my readers would find useful and enjoy...and it's Minted, y'all!
