Ah...the ubiquitous red cup...seen at frat houses, camp sites and backyard BBQs everywhere. Not exactly something you break out with your fine china, and certainly doesn't stay long after the partay is ovah. Now you don’t need to throw it away! Meet the Red Cup Living family—the first ever reusable and dishwasher safe red cups.

When I was approached to be part of their holiday reviewer campaign, I was a little skeptical but intrigued...someone made "real" red cup products and why? Once I learned a little about them, it made perfect sense.  The company was born when a husband and wife team decided to rekindle their neighborhood’s sense of community by holding more gatherings with… red cups, and the concept of what it stands for, camaraderie, chilling out, hanging at parties, tailgating, relaxing with friends and family etc.

Red Cup Living partyware
With so many products to choose from...I decided to check out a few of their partyware, the 12 oz coffee mug, the 2 oz shooter and the 18 oz Icon Cup with lid and straw.  I really liked the Icon Cup...it's made from break-resistant reusable plastic.  It sits at my work desk and the bendy straw and lid means I won't be spilling liquids all over my keyboard.  That is generally frowned upon.
The shooter cup is too cute...it's a tiny, red cup replica of the same reusable plastic. If you are going to do shots, do them in style! You can even get them attached to a lanyard so you are never far from the party.

What I was truly shocked about was the coffee mug...because it's not plastic.  It's ceramic. But it looks like a plastic cup. But it's ceramic.  I'm easily amused and think that is so cool.  And now when friends come over for coffee or hot cocoa, I use nice, entertaining mugs instead the sad, mismatched ones I have.

Red Cup Living gift ideas

And since my party brain is always on, I'm sharing two fun gift ideas with the coffee mug and shooter cup...perfect stocking stuffers, hostess and what-should-I-get-the-people-in-my-office gifts.

If you want to be on the conservative side, fill the mug with marshmallows, cocoa packets, peppermint sticks and a wood spoon.

Red Cup Living gift ideas; Anders Ruff Red Cup tag

Are you lovin' the tag? Of course you are, it is Anders Ruff's Red Solo Party labels! I had them customized for the holidays. And sidebar, anything can be a party theme, I absolutely love this party.

Red Cup Living gift ideas; shooter cup

If you are...well...comfortable with giving the person a shooter cup...add one with a little bottle of booze and paper shred to a french fry box.
