Top 13 Of 2013

It's the end of 2013 today, and of course, true to tradition, means it's time to wrap up all the fabulousness that happened to my little blog this year. There are so many more than 13, so I did a very unscientific poll with the most viewed, most Pinned, etc...

We kicked off 2013 with our Glittery & Sparkly New Year's Eve Party.

This year's Kiss Me, I'm Green party was the culmination of my Won't You Be My Valentine? series.  You can't go wrong with Kermit.

To celebrate the release of Wreck It Ralph on DVD, I collaborated with Birthday Express for a movie watching party filled with treats and giggles.

I was absolutely blown away when a producer from our local Seattle affiliate Fox Q13 News contacted me to come on live for both Easter and Father's Day crafting segments! I am still amazed by the fact that I WAS ON TV!!

I was invited back to participate in Design Dazzle's Summer Camp series and debuted my Day At The Beach party table.

I created a nautical twist on 4th Of July with my Starfish & Stripes tablescape.

My 5 year blogiversary came with a week of fabulous giveaways to thank you all for being such amazing followers.
Being part of Bella Cupcake Couture's Cupcake Couture,  4th Of July and Back To School blog hops brought out my mad cupcake decorating skills.  I'm kidding...but I do love tricking out cupcakes.

It was the Summer Of Popsicle when I became a blog ambassador for 2013. It was fabulous giveaways, Popsicle crafts and of course, the party.

Being chosen to go inside Alt Summit's Alt For Everyone's swag bag. 'Nuff said.

Being part of Chinet's The Lost Art Of Getting Together campaign with my  Pumpkin Patch Tailgating Party was so awesome.

I was honored to participate in Confetti Sunshine's A Handmade Holiday party hop with other amazing bloggers sharing very clever DIY Christmas ideas.

We end the year with a bright and colorful Hoggy Holidays for my return to Design Dazzle's annual Christmas Wonderful series.

Happy New Year everyone! I'll be taking a bit of a blogging break but be sure and tune in next Tuesday, we'll be kicking off 2014 with an tasty giveaway to get you ready for the Super Bowl.

classroom and teacher Christmas gift ideas

Every year, our teachers and front office staff at the little one's school wait with bated breath to what I will be gracing them with for Christmas. Seriously, it's hard work one-upping yourself every year.  Thanks to Pinterest, SweetWorks and Oriental Trading, the hardest part now is choosing what I have time to create.

Create Your Own LEGO Minifigure Family Holiday Card

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO.  All opinions are 100% mine.

If you have a lover of LEGO, today's post is just for you.  You all know I live in a house of boys, which means I'm knee deep in LEGO, in every incarnation, from the books to the shows to the pieces that are inevitably sucked up and spit out of my vacuum and later stepped on.

I'm thrilled to share a great way to share your love without the pain. They have created an online experience where you can create your own custom LEGO Minifigure Family holiday card!

Up to13 members of your family can be customized to match skin tone, facial expressions, outfits and more! It was so fun and easy and only takes a few minutes to create your own.  The hardest part is narrowing down your choices from all the elements so everyone has their own personal flair. Gift Giving With Red Cup Living

This review is based strictly on my opinion. Others may have a different opinion or experience with the Red Cup Living products listed. I was provided the samples free of charge by the company or PR agency and I provided my honest opinion. No other type of compensation was received for this review.

Ah...the ubiquitous red cup...seen at frat houses, camp sites and backyard BBQs everywhere. Not exactly something you break out with your fine china, and certainly doesn't stay long after the partay is ovah. Now you don’t need to throw it away! Meet the Red Cup Living family—the first ever reusable and dishwasher safe red cups.

When I was approached to be part of their holiday reviewer campaign, I was a little skeptical but intrigued...someone made "real" red cup products and why? Once I learned a little about them, it made perfect sense.  The company was born when a husband and wife team decided to rekindle their neighborhood’s sense of community by holding more gatherings with… red cups, and the concept of what it stands for, camaraderie, chilling out, hanging at parties, tailgating, relaxing with friends and family etc.

Red Cup Living partyware
With so many products to choose from...I decided to check out a few of their partyware, the 12 oz coffee mug, the 2 oz shooter and the 18 oz Icon Cup with lid and straw.  I really liked the Icon Cup...it's made from break-resistant reusable plastic.  It sits at my work desk and the bendy straw and lid means I won't be spilling liquids all over my keyboard.  That is generally frowned upon.
