I have a love/hate relationship with the holidays. The decorations, annual events and activities, gift buying, seeing the family...things I love and hate to deal with. I need a moment....or ten.
I'm not the big coffee drinker but my husband can't start the day without a cup or two. And during the day. And sometimes at the end of the day. My beverage of choice when I need a moment is hot chocolate, loaded up with creamer. He has his caffeine, I have my sugar.
I'm excited to team up with International Delight and share how their staggering array of creamers are perfect for everyday drinking and holiday entertaining. Seriously...staggering! There is a flavor for every taste. You can make a cup of coffee (or cocoa) at home that tastes like those fancy coffeehouse ones. And really, we know that is everyone's dream.
I bet you've never thought you can use creamer for more than just hot beverages. I'm sharing easy and stress-free ways to entertain with International Delight and make your holidays even sweeter. These ideas are perfect add-ons to your holiday event, whether at home or the office.
Holiday baking is not my strong suit...everyone's all with their homemade cookies. I stick to what I know...cupcakes and jazzing up store bought sweets. I'm going to share with you two no-fail recipes that will get you through.
- Do you know how I doctor box mix cupcakes to taste like hours in the kitchen? For my peppermint cupcakes, to the mix, I added in a small box of chocolate pudding, an extra egg and replaced the water requirement with Peppermint Mocha creamer.
Don't let truffles intimidate you...they sound and look fancy but are very simple to make.
